For over 40 years, FEIDAL Coatings has developed, produced and sold high quality liquid paints for industrial coatings. Long time before the environmental protection legislation placed restrictions on the use of solvents in coatings, FEIDAL Coatings had decided to develop environmentally friendly coating systems. Today FEIDAL Coatings offers its customers water-borne coatings for every application.

The EU regulation for VOC reductions implemented in Germany and Europe. The goal of the VOC regulation – VOC is an abbreviation of: Volatile Organic Compound – is a significant reduction in the emissions of organic compounds that are produced by use of organic solvents. The creation of a solvent balance sheet is required for almost every processor of coatings. In the second step, they are asked to prepare a solvent reduction plan. One approach to fulfil the required reduction of solvents in coatings and paints is complete or partial substitution by water.
